The Sunflower Garden is a work program of L'Arche Cape Breton. L'Arche is a community of people with and without intellectual disabilities, sharing life together in homes and in day programs. The Sunflower Garden is a market garden that exists first of all to provide meaningful work for our gardeners with disabilities, and secondly to sell what we produce so that we can offset the cost of doing so.

Chemical free vegetables, grown in really creative ways so that adults with various disabilities can have meaningful access to the work.
