We are a 5th generation farm raising beef and lamb the traditional way in Margaree Forks. We make all our hay on the floodplains of the Margaree River, which were traditionally used for this purpose. We recognize that sustainable farming is an important part of our community and we take pride in growing good food for our neighbours.
Animals are raised on grass and haylage. Calves and lambs are born and raised on site. We believe in using natural fertilizer for our soil with the use of manure and wood ash. We heavily rely on rotational grazing to control the overall health of the animals and the soil.
