Mabou Oysters is a family run business that has been in operation for five years. Most importantly, oysters are great aquafers, cleaning and filtering waters in Mabou Harbour. The cold clean taste of the oysters is a reflection of the near pristine waters from which they come.
Oystering has been a part of Cape Breton Culture for a few centuries. In Mabou we grow and harvest oysters from the cleanest waters on the Atlantic Seaboard! (Tested 29 times a year by DFO)
